As our intermediate championship came to an end yesterday, The game itself just didn't go our way in mullingar.we had alot of chances but these didn't come off.Our lads really put in a great shift but breaks didn't go our way and lady luck was with tubberclair and not us.we wish tubberclair all the best in the semi final. All I can say is a big thank you to all the intermediate panel for there effort this year in championship 2016.You have given us some great games of football and brilliant days out.With such a young panel I'm delighted to see ye progressing every year to higher standards . Bottom/middle table last year and quarter finals this year.Who would have said that.There is real belief within this panel that we are looking further and further every year.We have more youth coming in to this scene each year and that's more and more competitive. Keep you honest and brilliant football going into the last remaining league games as we sit top of d2.There is a huge undertaking with an intermediate team at this level and especially when the team are hitting new heights every year,I must thank a few people,our main man who gives do much time to this team and club ,Ian Bradley then his 3 selectors who also give so much time and effort up ray Lyster ,frank Duffy and declan Darcy, phisio who is a strong link in this team john joe leavy,our secretary anne gavin who tierdlessly gives so much Time and effort to this team.our water men tony gallagher,Eamon Mccarthy ,Adam bradley and ned cully.Thanks also to Ger gavin for the sponsorship of two new kits for the intermediate team.
